Nike Air Max Day

Studio Paperform was one of three leading Australian creatives commissioned to create a bespoke installation piece for Australia’s 2016 Nike Air Max Day event and exhibition.

Alongside video artist Joyce Ho and muralist/artist Elliott ‘Numskull’ Routledge, we took over a warehouse in Sydney for a weekend as one of five simultaneous host cities across the Asia Pacific region.

With Tinker Hatfield as Paperform’s appointed inspiration we conjured the Nike ‘Air Factory’ – a suspended piece lighter than air. Our factory interlocks using only paper, without the need for glue.
